Author of My Two Moms, Zach Wahls was impressive last night speaking at the Democratic National Convention -- poised and to the point about what family really is -- reminding me of who one of his moms actually is: Terry Wahls, MD, author of Minding My Mitochondria. I "met" Terry when we were both on "The Exchange" (Iowa Public Radio) talking about MS. Terry is very generous -- after the show, she sent me her book, which I've (after reading) passed to another friend with MS. Terry's research on which foods/nutrients aid myelin repair is important and little understood. Read Zach's book AND Terry's.
