His would just have been another fascinating obit (architect, artist ~ see The Art of the Piano) had I not met Pam Koeber-Diebboll in early October at The Art of Dying Conference. Pam and I were in the group of caregivers asked to stand in a workshop, which led to our talking during a break...and we became friends. Same situation: husband with terminal diagnosis only they'd been at it for three years.
John's family set up a Caringbridge site about a month or so ago, with details of how he was doing ... and then John died on Nov 23 of brain cancer.
