Remember my saying that if a train could be "my person," it would be the A (New Yorkers understand). A friend recently reminded me that Duke Ellington was way ahead of me** on this one. Apparently, he was in love too. Not to mention the One and Only Ella. (Hers is a bit of an homage to trains everywhere - even the TGV shows up.)
(**And on further inspection, I've learned that Billy Strayhorn actually wrote "Take the A Train.")
