An unexpected gift of a beautiful stem holder has led to flowers in my study. I started with three daffodils, cheery and bright, followed with tulips whose petals were a bit heavy, next the lovely lily, then yesterday came its cousin, hyacinths. This morning the whole house smells of hyacinth. Do yourself a favor and get some.
