Yes! My friend Meg Kearney is 2009 winner of The L.L. Winship/PEN New England Award in poetry for Home by Now (Four Way Books). Fine poet. Great reader of her poetry too. Great choice, PEN New England.
Meg is director of the Solstice Low-Residency Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Program at Pine Manor College.
And she's got a new picture book coming: Trouper the Three-Legged Dog, which will be illustrated by E.B. Lewis, forthcoming, Scholastic, 2012. The real Trouper has been to our house and is deserving of a book.
