What are all these posts from writers doing on a blog about collaboration, networks, and blah blah blah? Yes, I'm a writer, which alone makes it hard to even have a conversation without my working in something about the Beautiful Art of the Word but...there's a non-self-focused reason.
In this odd age, when, according to the last study I read, meaning the number is probably higher now, people spend a couple of hours of day with email, writing, reading, selecting, moving, and deleting. If not email, then the fine art of powerpointing (about which, go to an Edward Tufte workshop if you haven't already).
In short, learning to write clearly is as key as learning to type. But sadly much forgotten...another huge topic.
Meanwhile, I'll continue to post about writing.
